Lancer would marry off a girl to a passerby? You connect people, they exchange
letters, images of themselves, talk on the phone, whatnot, before they even
shake hands for the first time months or years in the future. It's a process.

That's right VetLegion. For instance a an American guy meets an American girl, who looks after the girl? Well the girl does. I think your point is, is there something wrong with that? Only a chauvinistic person would say yes, right Vet? Yet here when I introduce a couple, I do try to figure out who is who, and I am very fallible as recent events show to anyone with the least clue. So now events are up to the woman, when has it been any different? I did try, and I did fail, at least up to this point. Now it is up to her.

Almost two years have been wasted. If everyone would have listened to me, only a little over three years would remain before a fiance visa could be obtained. Then, the girl could work and help her family as well as her husband. Now, still, there are 5 years. Its a pity, I pity him.

Instead, what is there? Up in the hills, there is ruin, and 5 years to something real.

What a waste, very sad.

Meanwhile, the cousin, Bing Bing, that I set up with my friend L.A. is having a great time and wonderful marriage. There in Oregon she is making over $10 an hr and is helping her Philippine family as well as her husband and herself, a true blessing to all. I reflect on them when I consider whether what I do is worth it. What they have is real, and worth consideration, more than I can say of the judgments of the trolls that poison this forum.
