I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Aren't Pashtuns related to the Indo-Greek Kingdom of the late classical to early medieval period?Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

This reminds me of a saying, Iranian I think, it was something like
Whe birds fly over Afghanistan they fly with only one wing, because they use the other one to cover their eyes (because of the butsex)
There was a XIX century or early XX century british guy who traveled around the british empire having gay sex with the natives, he invented a concept, something like Sotadic Zone (I probably mispelled it) that included afghanistan, in that sone people were gayer than the world averageI need a foot massage

Those are waiting until either of the two groups grows large enough to be a stone throw's away from world domination, and will then coup both groups' leaderships and take over the world.
It's all true, I read it on the internet.

Well, I surmise so. Pederasty was 'elevated' in a sense in medieval Turco-Persian culture by being a common theme of very sophisticated love poetry, but the practice didn't exist in (Arabic) Islam before the Abbasids, and not outside of their influence. The Beduins loved themselves young girls, yes, but not boys... And the Abbasids of course were the ones that facilitated the revival of Persian culture and science in the west (in a word rescued it) after the devastation of the Muslim invasion.Originally posted by VJ View Postit does? wow
Since there are no traces of this in ancient Iranian culture either, and considering the profound impact of the Greek incursion in Central Asia it seems obvious to me that it was the Greeks that brought it east.
Now it's my turn to say: it does?explains some things

ps: re-read your books, and learn some ****ing source critique.
pps: "read your books"? sincerely, **** you.
It seems you're so stupid that you can't even read what you wrote yourself about men keeping women indoors. Spartan women actually had much more freedom than Athenian women had. So yes, read your books.
And do you just love to throw around random words? What's source criticism got to do in this "debate", where no sources have been cited whatsoever until right two lines above. And don't try to argue with me over this, I wrote a thesis on source criticism.
