Phil Harris from Deadliest Catch has died. I picked him.

Sad news this morning:  Phil Harris, captain of the Cornelia Marie fishing boat featured on Deadliest Catch, has died in Alaska. He was 53.

            One stroke too many.

Phil Harris was 53 and a unique pick for The Flashtastics (ranked 12).

            (171 - 12) + 100 - 53) + 25
            = 231 points

A big enough score to put flash9286 in 1st place.

                I'm actually quite impressed.

Harris had a stroke at the end of January and died yesterday. I thought flash had picked him as a "Steve Irwin" pick. I don't think a stroke at 53 was expected.

I was 53 with a heart attack, so I no longer have expectations. No good ones anyway.
                  That calls for another .

I use to watch Deadliest Catch before going to classes every morning. He had constant health problems on the show, was a chain smoker, almost never slept, huge levels of stress, and constantly downed red bulls.

Really kind of sad. One of my favorite skippers on the show. But he just couldn't give up his bad habits.

SALT LAKE CITY - Walter Fredrick Morrison, the man credited with inventing the Frisbee, has died. He was 90.

Utah House Rep. Kay McIff, an attorney who represented Morrison in a royalties case, says Morrison died at his home in Monroe, Utah, on Tuesday. McIff is from Richfield, Morrison's original hometown.

"That simple little toy has permeated every continent in every country, as many homes have Frisbees as any other device ever invented," McIff said. "How would you get through your youth without learning to throw a Frisbee?"
