On the other hand, the "montage" edition of the PS3 executive commercial is really quite enjoyable. Maybe the fact that the "boom" version is dual PS3/Best Buy commercial is what makes it suck.

Just eyeballs, not ears? For the eyeballs, it's all a matter of concentrating on the chick and trying to picture her naked, ignoring the neon backgrounds. For the ears, you can try the mute button, but if you've heard the commercial even once before you will hear it ringing in your brain again every time.

Too many to list. The thing most have in common is the "our customers are idiots" subtext.

Special mention: "Too heavy -- Too light" beer commercials.

Here's one from last year that was absolutely horrible due to its ubiquity: I believe they managed to play it during EVERY COMMERCIAL BREAK of EVERY FOOTBALL GAME last year. Or so it seemed. If they had brought it back, who knows what people would have done.

I agree that the message of that commercial always gets on my nerves. But the songs are all fun and catchy.

There's commercial which asks "you don't drink every time you smoke, so why do you smoke every time you drink". It isn't annoying, though it is counterproductive.

It shows a woman in an office using a blender to make what appears to be a strawberry daiquiri. When she's done, she takes it outside and lights up a ciggy.

When I watched it, I thought "Man, I could really use a drink. And a smoke".

Unfortunately I can't find it anywhere online.

Sooooooooo True. I never thought it was a good idea to portray the people you want to buy your product as idiots.

What it has to do with the product? Who cares....

I'm actually pissed off about that because when DVRs first came out you could press one button and automatically skip all the commercials. Unfortunately, advertisers screamed murder so networks scrambled to find ways to force you to watch their garbage thus now we only have the 30 second skip instead of the "skip all commercials" button.

I think a big reason why people are now watching TV shows over the internet is that they can now get it in hi-def and they can get it 100% commercial free for free.

They don't interupt with adverts on the internet feed in the US? That won't last long....

                              Also:

                              "He went to Jared!"

                              and

                              "Every kiss begins with Kay!"

Jesus mother****ing Christ, I can taste my own spleen when those commercials come on.

I hate any commericials with children: the younger the worse.
