I just took this with my crappy mobile. I think it captures the deserted feeling of the town. But I'm not complaining. The weather is exceedingly cosy.
There was a middle-aged Middle Eastern-looking couple out snapping pictures of each other. The woman was practically hysterical and was running around trying to contain her excitement.Comment

It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. The city's really peaceful right now. The grocery stores are closed, but about half of the restaurants and bars are still open in my neighborhood.
