We did change, and got the system we have now, which is one apartment key and one key for everything else. Then we have an extra lock that I didn't describe in detail because I don't know what the Anglos call it.

There's a bridge there now, and they'll learn to cross it eventually. I'm just trying to elicit your inner Kjaersgaard...

Kit, some swedish chick has written a book called Verdens lykkeligste folk / Lena Sundström. You swedes probably see it a bit different, but we find it kind of funny and saying a lot more about swedish prejudices than it describes danish ditto. Do you know it ?

@Wezil : sorry about the minor threadjacking - hope you'll forgive me
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Nah, I'm not worried - danmark has more and more influence in the connected areas, so we won't suffer from the poison spewed from stockholm

I know she's adopted and her book appeared very conveniently for the recent SD/Muslim row. I haven't read it, and I hardly keep up with the tabloid press so I don't know that much more. I might be able to find out, but it'd be taxing on my nerves so I'd rather not...

I can pretty much imagine what she thinks, and what Aftonbladet's editorials thought, and how Jyllandsposten would react, and so on. It's been done, and it's tired. I don't give a ****.

I just noticed, but why are you apologizing to the arrogant North Americans? We Europeans are better than they are, we're more enlightened, more open-minded, and infinitely more cultured than they'll ever be, just by virtue of being born on the right side of the Atlantic.

              Seven

              1 key for bike lock
1 key for confidential materials room at work
              1 electronic key for work
1 electronic key for apt building
              1 key for mail box
              1 key for apt dead-bolt
              1 key for apt doorknob
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Didn't know that she was adopted - that is certainly a serious issue that must be taken into consideration

Well, to be honest, JP will probably laugh, so you migth be wrong on that issue.

Well, about convenience, is is just as convenient as the cancelled apperance of Åkesson in "Parlamentet" that skyrocketed SD up above 7 %

                  I had:

                  2 UMD keys
                  1 friends place key
                  1 my place key
                  1 car key
1 mail key (might not have had it on my ring)
4+ mystery keys (some of which went to things like bike locks I think)

I would do things like open boxes with the mystery keys or use them to pry open things. At least one bent. I am pretty sure that one of them I just found in my apartment right after I moved in once.

Currently I have 5 keys not on any key ring and that is it (office + apartment + 2xgym lock + 1 bike lock). All that is left on my key ring is mystery keys and friends place. I also have a card for the gym and a card for the office.

I thought she claimed her 'foreign' looks made her be treated differently? I might have confused her with someone though.

You watch that? Anyway, they got 5.1% in a recent SCB poll, which is considered very accurate. I bet my dad earler they'd get 6% or above next election so I'm good and fine either way

It's generally polite to apologize when you threadjack a mildly boring topic with a conversation that is hideously boring.

I meant the stupid show. I don't know what channels you get of ours. I only get DR1 and TV2. They suck by the way, but I think you know that.

I'm hoping he was just being funny, considering what came after that quoted statement.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
