I just passed the second actuarial exam (Financial Math). I passed the first over Thanksgiving break.

My current mental state is not really expressible with smilies. It's some combination of "elated" and "braindead". I've been working problems for the past, oh, 30 hours? There was a 3hr nap at one point.

No. I'll probably start apply for one of those after I've been with my prospective employer (small NoVA tech company) for about a year.

Is the actuary exam stuff done? If so, why go work for Google if you want to become an actuary?

I didn't get Google. There are 8 more exams to go before I'm actually certified.

I think most actuary entry level positions want only the first 2 tests complete, and they'll pay you to study and take the others. Am I wrong?

Yeah, something like that. I already accepted the other position, though, so I'm hesitant to renege.

OTOH, my dad was talking about hooking me up with some interviews over Christmas break.

You can always scout around for entry-level and see what you find. If you get a great job there it might be worth reneging. Note that companies renege on offers all the time.
