With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Maersk, they're oversized boat taxis, right?

      Lego, inferior to MEGABLOCKS.

      Grundfos means nothing to me.

Canadians are good at pumping, but it is a process involving no pants and many beautiful people.

As Japher says - if you have thermostats on your heating system, they could easily be from them too.

The only reason I know is my friend's dad was president of the Western US division of the company, which is ironically located in Fresno. My friend's grandfather or great granddad (can't remember which) start a pump company in CA central valley supplying irrigation pumps. He eventually sold the company to Grundfos who moved their regional headquarters to the area. They're pretty big.

I'll give you Lego. Excellent. The others are of iffier status, but let's not make this a competition you would so surely lose...

                            • Carlsberg. :-|

Not really a product to be proud of, but at least it is known.

                              • Denmark was pretty boring IIRC.

The Carlsberg brewery was quite cool to visit (though I drank the Tuborg), and their Nazi elephant statues were fun to look at.

At least the Danish know their place though, virtually everyone spoke perfect English and the movies in the cinemas were also in English. Definitely catering to their betters there - made me feel very welcome!

                                Tak you very much, BC...
