I suspect the real motivation behind Lori's OP is that he was shocked to find out that Dubya's IQ is higher than he and scrambling to fashion a plausible excuse as to why IQ isn't very important at determining intelligence after all...

Er, Bush's IQ is not news; it's been public for years. I've also never taken an IQ test, so I have no idea how I'd score on that. Additionally, IQ does indeed describe an important aspect of intelligence, and I've never said otherwise. It's not the entire picture of human cognition, however, and efforts to find other methods of measuring the brain should be encouraged.
