Yes, all they have to do is check the IPs, and the reason the "DLs" haven't been banned is because they're not DLs. They're just a convenient excuse for horrible posters to sit here complaining about how Apolyton is not entertaining them rather than, I dunno, making non-worthless posts or finding a more entertaining forum. "Wah, I haven't made a worthwhile post in years, but it's all the fault of this sudden influx of 'DLs' most of whom were only here for a couple of days!"

I read few threads. It seems to me that the same people are still going at each other. It made me feel... surreal. As if there exists this other parallel universe, a reality (apolyton), where things remain the same while things outside it continues to go forward.

It is as if these individual little battles of witty remarks, open hostilities and attacks have been going on for... years(!!!) now. What a weird thought, and what a weird reality. The signatures have changed, but their intention - to demolish the other side - is still the same. Even the actual people quoted are the same. How do you guys do it? How do you keep up this other dimension functioning so flawlessly, never getting tired? It is supposed to implode, because it is impossible. Yet, this proves to be otherwise, perhaps a paradox that once unsolved will then die.

So what else? Anyone had a baby? Got married? Got a new job, got fired? I haven't gotten into fights. I've realized that even though I encounter punks still on a daily basis, I just sort try to forget about it. On this, I fail daily.

In truth, the "DL Army" was a bunch of old posters from other forums (Or from this one) who knew about this place, and decided to visit for a couple of days.

That is, until that little kid with the green avatar totally pwned us by posting YouTube videos of obscure Rap songs. Then we were collectively slain.

Someone determined enough could easily use proxy servers to mask his identity. Coupled with the fact there is only one person here who is obsessed with gender bending females and other degenerate sexual fetishes, it leads to the obvious conclusion that this person is so ****ed in the head, he is willing to make a dozen DLs so he can talk to himself about said topics.

VJ, I was founding it then and now I'm running it. I'm not rich yet, if ever. Let's just say that the type of business I'm running, which means employing people, there has to be tons of cash just so you can pay a salary to yourself. I'm happy about it though, I get to do what I want with it and I'm building it for the future so that it can have success if it should happen. So I'm investing pretty much everything into it anyway, so I'm still poor myself

So just wanted to clear this thing, I'm as poor as ever, but having more fun. Running a business isn't really fun though, when your competition is big international players. Takes a lot of work to win these pitching competitions. And these competitions suck. If you don't win, you get nothing. And the competition is HARD. But we're managing at the moment, doing OK.

On a shorter timeline I'm sure it appears that way. Though stretched over years, not so much. I am sure there are plenty of people who have either changed a lot, or in lots of subtle ways over the years - not noticeable in the short term, but glaring in the long term.
