i had the north star grassman and the ravens, and also a couple of fairport convention records from when she was with them. i can't remember what happened to them, because i didn't have them when i gave away all my music before i emigrated, i think someone (lydia i'm looking at you!) borrowed them and didn't give back.
sloww, did you listen to the jim jones revue i posted on the last page, i think they would be right up your street.

Wow peep the dichotomy:Originally posted by AAHZ View PostYOU ARE NO LONGER QUALIFIED TO CRITICIZE ANYTHING RELATED TO RAP MUSIC IN THIS THRADE
your opinions are as invalid as your resume, you piece of human waste.
It's like how the **** is this even the same genre of music? Holy ****. Not even noting the vastly different aesthetic value of the two, look at the lyrics of your trash:
Your Snitchin Azz *****es song:
That is ****ing trash. There's no question about that. Those are ****ing terrible lyrics. Not only are they ****ing retarded but there's nothing going on there. No metaphors, no similes, no meaning! He doesn't even freaking rhyme! My big ****in brother
just went to tha feds
he had got caught up
in some ****in ****
they say he had white
they say he had red
guess you wished I go
his nigga got pinned
he was on the highway
wit one fifty
the sherriff pulled him over
and he got in his bizz
they searched the ****in car
real good my nigga
the word was they hit em
for about six figures
Wow. AAHZ, you're a ****ing ******* because people like you are supporting the **** that ruins music, destroys the youth, and keeps Hip Hop denigrated in the public consciousness as below Jazz, Soul, Blues, Rock, and every other type of music.
Hip Hop is dead because of people like you

More classic Golden Age of rap tracks from the early 90's:
RIP Guru
AAHZ, the trash you post doesn't hold a candle to these timeless classics. The smooth jazz production and emphasis on lyricism is why this was the Golden Age of Hip Hop. Fortunately, there's a movement to return to this but people like you that worship that bastardized form of rap prevalent in the South are holding the entire genre of music back
Ticks me off actually that people like you are keeping the crap rap in business.
