Cockney, I have a question. On that first nitzer ebb thing you posted, is it just me or are the vocals seriously lacking in warmth?

And it still sounds like utter crap to me but my question on the vocals is serious. Maybe it's just me though or a bad EQ on youtube but it very noticeable. Is it on purpose or is it live or something?
