    Agreed. No doubt he was partisan and perhaps bitterly so. Given the precedents he set with respect to Supreme Court appointees etc., but the one thing I have heard repeatedly was that (perhaps as a result of not getting universal health care when it was offered on a silver platter in hopes of either a better offer or one that his party could lay claim to credit) he would make concerted efforts to coalition build across the aisle on issues of common interest.

        OK I've said two nice things about Teddy.

        OTOH if Oerdin wants to talk about Camelot that at least opens the door for discussions about the Lady in the Lake.

          How exactly did I "attack" Kennedy? I simply linked to the BBC obit and one of the pictures in the article. I made no comment on his death.
