“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
- John 13:34-35 (NRSV)
If there is Cheese Curds at your grocery store, you can do a good poutine. But the cheese curds must squeak when eating them, otherwise, your poutine will suck.
According to wiki; there is cheese curds in the usa.
As to the topic - Awesome. Great day at work and I found $10.

I bought a tub of chocolate ice cream and a greasy burger.

The great thing about being a world eater, is that you are willing to try new things and not just the same boring stuff

I have too much work to do. I have been evicted from my desk following an office seating plan change and now no longer get to mingle with the masses in the open plan battery farm. On the plus side I now have my own office space with a window view of the local pub. I will be sharing this office with two twenty year old female US interns who start in a couple of weeks.
Life is....different.
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.
Things are okay. Some buddies and I are starting a team in new season in this roller hockey league we've played in the last few years. We are trying to decide on a team name. So far the suggestions are "Kane's Cabbies" (for Patrick Kane's little drunken cab incident), "The Whiskey Rebellion", and "Tits".
I'm thinking about writing some fiction. I'm just about at the point where I can pump out 5-10k words per day, but the thing that is holding me back is "what then?" Do I write a book and then try to publish? Do I just write lots of short stories? I've not done this before. So... yeah... and I'd like to eventually get paid for this.
suggestions are welcome... for the team name and writing
20s virile great future ahead hot hot girlfriend loving it posting on the internet in the middle of the night. Something is missing but I don't know what--
1. Just finished a houseboating trip in interior BC with another family-- awesome time-- great sand everywhere and other children mean that mine were separated and stopped picking at each other
2. I Funnelled beer for the first time since college last weekend
3. Work is good and interesting-- being the only lawyer on a billion dollar project tends to keep you jumping
4. Work involves travel a fair bit and I am writing from a hotel AGAIN--Being chatty I know ALL the front desk and bell staff after so many visits-- But it works I got upgraded to a "named" suite with a 6 chair boardroom (plus I got free booze)
5. My children brought tears to my eyes a little when they sang to me over the phone . I have no idea what the almost 3 year old was trying to sing
6. I had very good Italian food last night and excellent Chinese food at lunch today. I am getting used to eating dinner alone and the fact that there were FIVE attractive ladies at the table adjacent to me last night makes it easier. Three had wedding rings and 2 were 20 years younger than me but they were great to view
7. Tomorrow I get home and at a reasonable time for a change. Mrs Flubber has the weekend off so I foresee a family weekend
8. Poutine is awesome-- I still haven't revisited the hummus
Getting married in er... 21 days (DON'T DO IT!) and amazed at the amount of tedious details you have to arrange.
Work is insanely busy, but in a good way, lots of learning. Really challenging and interesting stuff.
