From the general demeanor of the forum, I would suspect most of the posters here would like to preserve the right to call people pedophiles, nazis, panda-****ers, and other not-so-nice things. I'm willing to listen to rule change discussions though and act on consensus among active posters if there is any.

I really HATE captchas, and making newbs jump that hoop on first post, but they've saved us an awful lot of hassle at AC2.

Yah, we have captchas too. But with a PR5 forum there are people willing to pay top dollar for links, and that means either paying for real posters or captcha services that decode captchas (or pay people to do them) in near real-time.

I'll look into some other types of spam filters to reduce the workload ... I'm not real familiar with vB yet still. Should be a way to hold certain posts with specific keywords in moderation. Anyone know?
