Religion is part of my ethical make up, yes. But it isn't 'my pastor told me this was wrong so I am not going to do it'.
It is due to me thinking that people should only have sex with the person who is their mate. It is what I think is right, and I think that (as for most/all things that are right), it provides a blessing/a good to those who do it.
When I fell heavily in love, I did lose my virginity (to my girlfriend). I was wrong, my girlfriend and I had sex too early in our relationship, before we had solved many of the issues which have needed to be solved for us to have a relationship (and there have been serious issues for us to solve). We are still working them out, two years later, but I think I will marry her (hopefully not after too long a time).

A question about terminology, purely hypothetical: what if she's not a sexual partner so much as a sexual boss? I know sexual employees and sexual customers/clients are generally considered partners, but there are a variety of arrangements here. Consider the sexual coworker, sexual approved vendor, and of course sexual multi-level-marketing, which combines the attributes of basically all of them. Just for example, and this is totally hypothetical. We'll get to the sexual time-share later.Comment
