u know I was only exaggerating, although I do enjoy a good dump quite a bit. But then I happen upon this little survey in the Netherlands. It seems they enjoy a dump more than sex too.

i forget peoples' names occasionally. 2 years ago i wrote down every guy's name who i blew or had sex with. then i had no new partners for about a year and reread the list a few months ago and couldn't remember who they were even when i'd read the names. now i'm in college and am keeping track again.

The media, seeing a good friend of mine who was ridiculously attractive being essentially propositioned by girls regularly (he loved it in his single years but later it annoyed the hell out of his wife) and even my own experience.


But I knew a guy that was pretty plain, even somwaht unattractive that still had lots of partners. He was funny as hell, unabashedly direct and had a real thing for the much larger ladies. This guy could tell a girl within 5 minutes of meeting her that he really wanted her to lick his balls and have her laughing about it. Sometime he got slapped or the girl got offended but I once saw him leave with the very girl that slapped him. he apologized and said something like " you know that guys think about sex constantly and you SAY you want us to be honest" all delivered with a grin-- He was so notorious that when he worked as a bartender, all the other male bartenders had t-shirts made up that said "I'm not Joe". This was a guy that might say to a girl " I have to try harder and talk more, I'm short and have a small penis". Crashing and burning 10 times wouldn't bother him.


Overall I would say confidence and a desire for more sex leads to more sex. But attractiveness can get even the least confident guy, laid.

This anecdote about your friend is so true. I was a pretty handsome fella as a young man, and it certainly helped to get women interested at first, but it wasn't until I developed some additional strategies that had nothing to do with looks that I was regularly bedding them. I actually believe that if I had been less good looking I would have developed those strategies earlier and been more successful overall.

After hitting on the magic formula it took a couple of years of very successful prowling for me to get really sick of it, feel really cheap and shallow, and settle down.

Not necessarily just the quick bang-and-run type, but in general. Who cares? I don't care about your sex life. You don't care about mine. I've never quite understood the point of bragging (or being ashamed, for that matter).

Yeah, I was exaggerating a bit. My point was, in a thread entitled "How many sexual partners have you had", I don't think the point is to recount emotionally compelling sex. If you want to do that, go ahead. I'm just saying...I think you'd be missing the point

And no, I'm not proud of it, per se. If I am at all, it's for reasons we can discuss via PM, but my point was that I'm more proud of the stories than the fact that they involved sex.

I'm not a virgin then. On that criterion, my count probably stands at... 8 that I recall off-hand, but probably some of the others were quality and I just didn't realise it at the time.
