im not reading this whole thrade, and ive never been accused of being the sharpest knife in the droor, but i will say that the health care system in the U.S. is the biggest example of the flaw of Capitalism on the planet.

Being 31 years old and on my own since i was 18, in the U.S, i can say this with experience.

and Obama telling Congress to "fix health care" is like saying "fix everything wrong with Capitalism in 4 months" or whatever.

I just got word from that a Congressman in Northern New Jersey has called a health care group that opposes Obama's plan from the left and has begged them to attend a town meeting. The right wingers sure have Congress running scared.

It's one thing to oppose the Obama plan (whatever that is), it's another to outright oppose healthcare reform. When 48% of the people are rating the American healthcare system as good or excellent, while not knowing who runs Medicare, you lose all faith in democracy and the American voter. Obama for Supreme Chancellor!

It's probably the hypocracy of the right.
When MoveOn organized an event, it was so reported.
When FoxNews and its allies organize an event, its reported by Fox News to be a spontaneous outpouring of voter outrage.

BTW: I don't remember MoveOn ever using violence to shut down a meeting on a subject it did not agree with. Brown shirt tactics like violence and the systematic shouting down of opposing speakers appear to be used only by the far right. Do anyone have a different preception?

Read post 11 for an incident of union violence.

Aren't most protests organized by someone to a certain extent other than the mobs of young kids breaking **** because everyone is breaking ****? Do you want to limit people the right to protest to only those who are spontainious and completely not organized by anyone? I get that you don't agree with them and that's fine but they have every right (organized or not) to be there up until they start breaking **** and hurting people. Then you can turn the dogs on them if you are so inclinded.
