Granted that the place has improved somewhat in the two years since I left, but not enough to warrant effort like I may have invested in the old days. Given two forums, one where a thread will sink or swim of its own accord and one where a thread may be arbitrarily closed or deleted, in which forum would you focus the vast majority of your spamming efforts? Poly's greatest advantage is its preponderance of whiny schmucks like VJ, and all it takes to make them happy is a good dickgirling.

That was the point. In case you missed it, that was a sarcastic comment on the meaningless-ness of such rhetoric -- "you're a loon", "you're an idiot", "you're a nazi" and "you're the worst poster here" are all ways to start a pointless flame war. Only idiots try to start flame wars (what you're doing right now), take part in them, or give a **** about them.

So I read half the thread. Still didn't understand what hummus was. Took some time to understand that you guys weren't talking about humus btw. So I went into Wikipedia. Hummus is some kind of dip. Great. But I've never tasted it, seen it or heard of it before now. So is this something that's popular over in the states?
