Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Sloww, could I borrow some of your shotguns ? I feel an urge to shoot

Edit: If you have a Garrand, it will be fine - I know how to use such a baby.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

No, it was a blog citing to an original news article from the Pioneer Press, the second largest newspaper in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, because I couldn't find the original Pioneer Press link online. It was also on TV news at the time.

That, and it shouldn't be surprising to begin with given that there have been multiple publicized "animal hoarding" stories in recent years, to the point that there's even a wikipedia article characterizing it as a distinct mental disorder:

You seriously think these vermin shouldn't be put out of their misery?

        Unbelievable!

It's a bad damn deal. The people should be hung.

If you're going after vermin, I'd say stick with the shotgun. The Garand will deliver more concentrated and accurate damage, but you're going after a small target so the actual amount of kinetic energy needed for a kill will be low, and the chance of missing will be high.

I'd be surprised if you need any heavier load than birdshot, to be honest. That's certainly enough to take out mice and should be enough to quelch a rat. 28-gauge should be enough, and it would also mean you don't cause too much structural damage to the wall and floor.

Napalm would be more effective but you do have to be careful.

Well, I had some little bigger rats in mind - there was some unappropriate cat comments

Q: can you say "little bigger" in english ?

In that context, I would suggest "some slightly bigger rats".

You can say "little bigger" but it's fairly specific, like in "This rat is a little bigger than that rat".
