So you know me and pies, well there's another contest here but this is a bit of a tricky one. It's the Chile Festival time and the desert you make has to incorporate chiles. Now I love this type of thing. I had a habenjaro lime cheescake that was the bomb! I mean really! It was this wonderful sensation of really tart and sweet then just at the end a little blast of heat, it was great

I know alot of clutures use chocolates and chiles etc.. to make different things. So got any ideas? I came up with one to make a chocolate pie with mole and call it Holy Mole Chocolate Pie It doesn't have to be pie, just desert made with chiles. Which makes me think I should do some research and see how many types of chiles there are out there, I'm sure quite alot.

I prefer to keep my tongue and lips thank you. I like things hot, but not enough to melt my lips and tongue.

We have some chocolate bars here with 70 % cocoa, chili and orange. Maybe something to go on with ?

How can you make a dessert out of a country?

I've actually had a chocolate bar with chiles and it was good. Possibly could use that. I think it's a bit like the sweet and salty thing. If you use just the right amount it works but a little over one way or the other and it just doesn't. You walk a fine line.

I enjoy the Habenero for most meats


However, try some Mint flavored with some chilis

I enjoy a good Jalepeno and Mint Jelly, maybe parlay that into a dessert?

To me, problem with chocolates with the sugar in the sweets would somewhat neutralized the heat, at least in some cases
