    I think you are also vastly underestimating how many firearms exist in the US. A quick google search reveals the number to be from 9 guns for every 10 people to as many as 1 gun per person. Keep in mind that most people don't own a gun, and most people who do own a gun are not willing to part with it, for various reasons.
    Well, a vast amount of guns are legal, so there aren't that many illegal. If the flooding of legal guns are stopped, so are the llegal (remember my claim that legal guns should be burglarproof).

    To be honest, if people wont give up their weapons after a reasonable period of transition, I don't mind claiming that they are criminals.
    With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

                        which reminds me, I wanted to change my signiture. Some not so great individuals (ie terrorists) have used this quote (my second line of my sig), but I will use it anyways. It's a good quote despite bad people who have used it.
