      Schools do have in loco parentis powers, but personhood vests long before your 18th birthday. The SCOTUS has said fetuses (fetii?) are not persons under the 14th Am but newborns are.

          SCOTUS has not defended partial birth abortions. Gonzales v. Carhart (2006) the court upheld a state law banning partial birth abortions.

          It's not clear what this means. It's possible that a state law allowing partial birth abortions could still be upheld.
