After watching T4 a while ago, I felt the need to re-watch T1 T2 and T3 again, just to see how the story all fits together and because I saw T1 when I was too young to follow it.
T4 kind of pulls the knot on the story, but I have some questions.
First of all, I think there is a paradox.
Sarah Connor born > Terminator sent back in time to kill Sarah when she is a teenager, John Connor send his father back to save her > Father falls in love with Sarah Connor, impregnates Sarah with soon to be John Connor.
My problem with this is that John can't send Kyle back if Kyle hasn't gone back yet to make love with her because John WOULDN'T EXIST. Excuse me if I don't understand the threads of time, but I don't think this is possible, it's a paradox, it would cause existence to collapse on itself.
Secondly, while T3 was a bad movie, it wasn't so terrible that it should be ignored - which would be an even worse mistake, it would be like ignoring Two Towers from the LotR triology because it was badly made. Ok, I agree, T3 isn't necessary to the plot of the entire story of Terminator, but unfortunately it has been made and widely known, it's PART OF THE STORY NOW, ignoring it is just going to screw the whole series up.
So after watching T3, my question to you is, 1. Where in T4 is his wife and kids? and 3. How old is John Connor in T4?
