Of course context is important, same with any offensive word. And of course it's ok for an minority group to use a word that would be offensive if used by someone outside that group. Like it's ok for us to call Ming a bastard but if someone from CivFanatics did... er... ok yeah, that's a bad example. You know what I mean though.

I don't see why it isn't banned when so many much milder and much less offensive words are banned. I voted YES.

I am firmly against, we need to take words off the list not add new ones. Especially since the censorship dosen't work anyway, people who want to use words like ****** in a offensive context will find ways around the autocensor.

And even if this wasn't the case, a second line of censorship is unnesecary. We already have rules in place to preven hate speech and a dozen other things. They are all written down in the FAQ, if you don't follow those rules then you get warned and then banned. And if your use of the word considered inapropriate is not against the rules, well then why autocensor the word?

I call bull**** on that one. complete bull****. You are excusing bad behavior by minorities just because they are minorities. People on the left have to stop treating minorities like little kids. How about this radical concept. Minorities should be held to the same standard as whites.

oh and one more thing. Somehow it is acceptable for them to call us cracker just because they are minorities. Your post doesn't address that issue. Face it, minorities get special treatment.
