During middle school, a few of my friends were really into the game. I think at that time there were two versions or something. They would constantly trade their pokemans.
Never played BG I, but I've played BGII and needless to say I think it's pretty good. [Insert rant on all subsequent D&D computer games here].
Did you ever play Planescape Torment?
That was a game that I think was way too ambitious for the Infinity Engine (the isometric engine that mostly favors tactical combat). It had a huge amount of storyline dialogue and numerous well-written quests, but combat was not a major part of the game. Well worth a look, and a refreshing change from most other D&D style games.
I have no idea what any of that crap means, so I figured it's just better to kill anyone who does know.
