Well I'd be a bit of a hypocrite to be playing online poker after establishing it was for pussies (apart from trying to qualify for RL tournaments), wouldn't I? Even a Texan should be able to see that kind of logic...
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

ALSO, the reason I didn't like No Limit was that I didn't have enough money to really participate.

I can see that argument in a cash game where people can bring any stake they want (your five buck all in isn't going to have same impact as the guys who all in with a $100or $500 stake) but most friendly games I have participated in were touranment-elimination style. If you have the basic buy-in , how much extra money you have (or don't have) is irrelevant
But limit holdem to me is like trying sex with your jeans still on--you only get a little rub here and there of what it really feels like--
Whats the point of having read a guy perfectly and knowing pretty much exactly what he has if you can't use big bets to exact a price. From the few limit games I have played in it seems to be favored by those folks that are loose callers that pretty much want to be in every hand anyway. It eliminates and real bluffing or the whole idea of apossibility to live or die on a single hand even if it is only the third hand of the night
You don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo
And one I haven't deviated from since my OP, so I have nothing to prove. Not to mention the fact that you're not even going to make it worth my while by playing no limits...

Bingo. No foldem holdem.
Most of that behaviour is gone when you get to 10/20 and 20/40 dollar tables though.

All this rhetoric doesn't address players having a lot more money to bet than I. Would you sit in with a hundred dollars against people with a thousand dollars, as a for instance? If you do, you're fresh meat.

Slowwy, There was a time when I would swing +/- 1000$ in a couple of hours in online poker.
I've forgotten more about the game than you will ever know. Show some respect for your betters.
What drugs are you on? A cocktail?

I used to play with a group of friends semi-regularly, but that has died off. I now play in a weekly friday night game.
As for online, I have a pokerstars account, and have only played the free/play money for now. I can do well at times, but as it is play money, I think I play a lot more loose then I do in a real money game. I would like to try out playing real money online, but no idea how to get money into an account without giving my credit card or using a pay pal account (both of which I refuse to do).
I have been tempted to try casino play as well, but worried that my adictive personality may lead to a bad trend if I ever started that!
Still watch a lot on TV however, and would like to play more..just sometimes time constraints don't allow me to
