As a general rule of thumb, anything, only in moderation. But stay away from drinks with much sugar, it's harder to control liquids.
Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.-Isaiah 41:10
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made - Psalms 139.14a

My last boss was nearly a life-long diabetic. He tried to follow a semi-strict diet, but if he knew he was going to be indulging, or had, he upped his injection to balance it.
He kept M&M's or something around if he felt his blood sugar dropping. It's just life as he knows it.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

those "Police tazer and brutally beat man during traffic stop when he began acting bizarrely and speaking incoherently. Man was diabetic and plans to sue" stories that come up every so often? Low blood sugar.

Yeah, my driving licence has to be renewed every 3 years because they need to consult with my diabetes specialist that I don't have repeated hypoglaecemia which would be dangerous for me and other drivers. I am not allowed to be the pilot of a commercial airliner for this reason, but on the plus side, I'd be excused combat duties if military service ever returned to Britain.

I have been diagnosed as a TypeII Diabettic for 7 or 8 yrears now, also high blood pressure and high cholestrerol.

Thanks to God and medicine, I am going on 5 years under control.

I eat healthy now, occasionally veer off to the sweet tea, but not as much as I used to.

My high blood pressure is under control as well as high cholesterol.

In the infancy of being diagnosed with it, some very disturbing symtoms occurred, if anyone wants to know the ugly side, PM and i will tell you what might seem TMI but for own good, as i would wish anyone to experience what i have.

Serious business good folks, not at all something to play with and most certainly something we should all monitor on a regular basis
