We should delineate the concept of influential countries first before proposing a list. I would rank economic power a notch higher than military power for starters, since our globalized world has little interest in traditional wars to solve its problems, except our warmongering friends across the atlantic that is .

Additionally I wouldn't discount moral influence either, but as that is a bit hard to measure I'm quite unsure how to insert it into the calculation.
