Fortunately I have never had any curiosity about those types of things.
But why we're discussing it, could you try to explain something to me.
I had a good friend years ago (who was obviously gay, and was suprised when he came out to a few of us and we told him we had already figured it out a few prior.
) who I went to many baseball games with. His apartment was right next to the ball park so we partied there after the game quite a few times with a lot of his friends. The neighborhood was a gay neighborhood so I would usually be the only straight guy in attendence. Every time I was there I would start talking to people and eventually it would be mentioned that I was his boss. As soon as that happened, they would all try to out him to me. I always found this strange since I'm sitting in a party where I'm the only straight guy so It should have been obvious that I had figured out he was gay, but more importantly, all these people were supposed to be his friends. This is something that I think friends wouldn't do. If it had happened only once, I wouldn't have thought it strange but it happened over a dozen times. THis behavior alwasy confused me and no rational reason has ever been given for it, especially because it always happened after they became aware that he worked for me. Any enlightenment would be appreciated.

Sounds like bizarre behaviour. I wouldn't dare out a friend of mine if he wasn't comfortable with it. In fact, I haven't outed several Poly posters since they prefer the closet.

I'm glad to hear it's not normal and not generally accepted. I always thought it was a pretty crappy thing to do to your friends.
