Historical geeky remark: is it exclusively about the WWII era? Then some guys may notice that the first color pic (firing Iowa class) shows the ship in it's post-WWII times (reactivated under Reagan IIRC, with missiles, heli launch pad and all).

You know, BeBro, on one hand, i tend to agree, on the other i dont. I mean i WOULD be very irritated, if someone hung a swastika flag out of his window. If the law be abolished, there could absolutely nothing be done against that. We would actually have demos with the right-wingers waving their beloved flag in all public, probably wearing arm-bands as well and such. Probably they should just handle it more lax, interprete it more freely, especially when it comes to games with historical content.

for copyright, the overwhelming majority are from archival photos from the navy.
