I try to avoid talking on the phone while driving but sometimes I want to get some calls out of the way and done with before I get back home from work to relax and have dinner. If I do call while I'm driving, I wait until I'm done getting out of driveway and after changing lanes and THEN I call when I know I don't have to change lanes or anything else for a short while. I don't make calls while I need to change lanes and when I need pay extra attention for other reasons.

I did only read the poll options and so maybe someone else said it already: You are not allowed to use the phone (if it´s not a handless free-speech device) while driving - you have to pull over and stop. Of course, many people think they are too smart for that, still, tho. In my experience mostly mercedes and BMW drivers, who think they own the streets anyways and can easily afford the fine if caught - sometimes it may even be well worth it for them, to try to make a deal, while endangering themselves and others.
