If you haven't guessed, this is Dale. My final post, which is an apology to the posters of Poly.

What I did, I did in protest against the admins (in reality two of them). The details do not need to be known, but the staff know exactly the situation leading up to what happened. Let's just say my conclusion to a staff argument that has been raging off and on for over a year.

So I apologise to the posters of Poly, the staff members and the couple of staff members who understood what I was trying to point out. To the staff members who read my thread a month ago in the staff room about a certain post, I hope you now understand my point.

And to Asher and the couple of admins who opposed my argument...... meh.

So if you want to follow my mod for Col, come to CFC. Otherwise..... meh.

Having had a daughter at an elementary school filled with bullying girls, I know how they work (female bullies, that is). They tease, name call, attack weaknesses and provoke. But they know PRECISELY how to stay within the lines. They do this until the victim hits back, and then the VICTIM gets in trouble. It is easier to fend this sort of thing off if you understand that that is what the bully most wants.

Unfortunately you took the wrong strategy and lashed out at the bully, in such a way as to leave the "authorities" no choice. It is unfortunate that you thereby handed the bully a victory.

However it is ultimately up to the "authorities" to determine how to best handle the bully, before they let the bully control the classroom.
