    And 35 - 40ms is not quite right, it's more like 20-30.

The guy says it can be done, I believe him, he's got major support. Maybe hardcore gamers won't go for it, but things can change. I suspect ISP's will partner with OnLive to come out with packages: fast internet + OnLive, $100 a month, something like that, and I wouldn't mind signing up for it if I have unlimited access to play any game I want.

Don't forget, Onlive can do more than just games, it could also do apps, video, music, etc. OnLive could seriously become the way of the future.

Oh, to be stupid and artistic and naive...

I don't mind being wrong if I turn out to be, but you do Asher, that's your fall. The Internet never forgets, so we can dig this thread up when we the results come in.

I think its Age of Conan. Best MMO I have played, I was really into the atmosphere, which is what I play MMO's for. I haven't touched it for many months now, so I have no idea what has happened to it.

If it's the best MMO you ever played and you stopped playing it so soon, that speaks volumes. You probably never got past L20 to discover the game wasn't actually finished.

As I said, oh to be stupid and naive...

I reached level 30. I stopped playing because it was inconveniencing my life.

I knew the game wasn't finished the moment I started playing it. I wasn't concerned about that because I knew that by the time I did reach the higher levels (I like to play slow), they would have finished it.

Besides that unimportant fact, I found the game to be the best MMO for a number of reasons, 1. is atmosphere 2. is randombility (I just invented this much needed word). From the beginning of the game, I could see that the fighting mechanism would allow for some very interesting fights; it wasn't until I was about level 25 that I started to see other people finding strategies to take down higher level players.

My first encounter happened when I was walking through a forest (I was about level 25), and I was attacked by a low level player (about level 15); I thought this guy was nuts attacking me, I would destroy him; but he applied a strategy to kill me by ducking and moving out of the way, it worked, I died. I spent the next half an hour finding this guy and fighting him, I died each time. It wasn't that I was a bad player, it was that he was playing in such a way most of us would not be used to. I talked to the guy later on and we discussed about the fighting mechanism.

He said he had been able to take down people much higher levels than me.

And that is how the game should be - it shouldn't be based on how much experience you have, but rather how you physically fight in the game - that is your true level of skill.

Tell me one MMO that can do that.

Doesn't count. I'm talking about melee fighting; that's a different engine all together.

Yes, it counts, you're just a moron for not qualifying you meant melee.
