As to the ****** who said he could beat Obama at bowling...hasn't he ever heard the phrase "Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks"?

I mean, if he said that to me, I'd tell him I'd give him a shot, but only if he could spell my name on the first try. After all, you know the only thing better than winning the Special Olympics, right? Not being retarded!

I hope that someday, you can achieve one of the two.

Uh, where have you been? If you watch the news, or read the news, conservatives and even other Democrats have found several other much more important things on which they have said he has slipped up on.

I voted for Obama, but I have already gotten serious reservations about some of his spending policy in light of his ambitious programs. Not to mention that I have had to slap my forehead repeatedly in frustration with Obama's cabinet office appointments slip ups.

The idea that led to the founding of Orion Energy Systems received a presidential salute of sorts today.

President Barack Obama just finished speaking at a White House roundtable on clean energy efficiency attended by Neal Verfuerth, Orion president and chief executive. Obama saluted Orion. ...

All terrific press for Orion, except that Obama kept pronouncing the company’s name wrong, calling it OAR-ee-on.

After finishing his remarks and talking with a few people, the president returned to the microphone and said his prepared remarks led him to pronounce the firm's name wrong.

“I suspect this is Or-EYE-on as opposed to OAR-ee-on. Just wanted to make sure that when I’m giving you a plug, that we’ve got the right plug. It’s Or-EYE-on.”

I'm glad we finally got rid of that boob in the White House.

It's already clear what Obama meant; he meant that he bowls like a physically handicapped person. That's technically not true (some physically handicapped people bowl much better than he does), but it was a pretty harmless attempt at self-deprecating humor.

Fixed. Apparently, it wasn't a clear as you thought.

BTW: Do you think Barack would feel better if I told him he bowled 10-pins higher than my lifetime average? -- I could never make the Special Olympics.

I'm tired of all the "hysterics over PC words" also. When Imus said his "nappy" thing I thought the girls team should've responded with a resounding "whatever". Instead you have people saying they've been emotionally traumatized. Well if that's gonna traumatize them good luck at getting ahead in this world.
Actually, they should have kicked Don Imus' ass. Learn him some manners.

                        Fixed.

No. The guy in Michigan that challenged Obama to a bowling showdown is mentally handicapped.

Stop "fixing" my posts; you aren't nearly smart or informed enough to do so.

So you wanna cut alternative energy investment, so we can continue to rely on oil imports, the cost of which is only going to go up? Or do you want to walk away from education, and try to compete globally with an undereducate citizenry? Or you want to let healthcare continue to spiral out of control?

He has ambitious programs, yes, but he has them because for too long the basics have been ignored. Without fixing these looming disasters, our future will be bleak indeed.

Yes, we all want to spend on all sorts of things, but at some point we do have to ask what its going to cost.

From Bush we have record low taxes. Shouldn't we raise them?
