I thought this was an interesting bit of advertising, market research, and documentary work all rolled into one. Burger King wanted to do a taste test between the Whopper and the Big Mac but they wanted to hear from people who had never tried a hamburger before nor be exposed to advertising by either firm. To do this they went around the world finding people in extremely remote locations who had never eaten a hamburger and sometimes never even heard of a hamburger before. This video is their result. I must say it was kind of interesting just watching people try to figure out how exactly you eat a hamburger, how you hold it, etc...

Okay, who is paying you for the advertising...
You know it's not market research, right? And not documentary work? It's just ... a commercial. By a crappy fast food company. Perhaps THE crappy fast food company (I consider them much worse than McD's both in average restaurant quality and in taste).<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

Who cares what some aborigine thinks about a hamburger?Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Pretty cool stuff. Obviously a commercial, but a good commercial.
I'm surprised Romanians are that isolated from hamburgers. Hmong villagers I can understand, and Inuit too. I figured Romanians would have some contact with American culture. And that would be McDonalds.John Brown did nothing wrong.

Umm, you have some reason for believing these people have actually never seen a hamburger... why?
I bet you think there were WMDs in Iraq also ...<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

All those people in the commercials were actors folks.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

On a somewhat related note: How do you call the job/people, who tidy up a fast-food restaurant? I recently learned, in germany they are called ´night-cleaners´ - no translation; and i would place a bet, that nowhere else in the world, including every english-speaking country, they are called this way.
