If you didn't like this episode, I don't see how replacing the fishstick joke by a funny joke would have made you like it. The joke would still be tired something like 5 minute in (unless you are saying you can laugh 30+ times at the same joke in 20 minutes).
I am not saying this was necessarily a good episode, merely that the "funnyness" of the episode is not supposed to be the fishstick joke itself, but in events surrounding it, hence the fact that you didn't find the fishstick joke funny is irrelevant.
But there were no other jokes -- except beating Mancia with baseball bats.

This was no "Night of the Living Homeless" episode.

Wow, you totally missed the point of the episode.

The entire episode was about Cartman's view of how things happen, Kanye West, & Carlos Mencia. The fishsticks joke was just a set up to go after all of that.

The call that a "point" is a gross exaggeration. It's more like a blunt end. A very blunt end. Belaboring the obvious, one might say.

Especially after seeing Kanye's blog and saying it made him realize he should do things differently.

Back to Margaritaville - our most senior religious leader in the UK (though he has far less influence than his counterparts in the US) had this to say today:

It's almost as if he watched the episode and missed the point as well.

We don't have a senior religious leader, in fact, if you wanted to get all our senior religious leaders together you would have a crowd larger than Congress.

Pinewood Racer = Good episode. It didn't have me rolling on the floor, but it definitely squeezed some guffahs out of me.

You know, it wasn't an episode that'll gain alot of fame, like Major Boobage, and it wasn't anything groundbreaking, but I laughed a LOT. Just everything had me chuckling, which I wasn't necessarily expecting given that it was a Stan-centric episode, and I've been getting a little tired of him lately...

I wonder if the younger Polytubbies recognized the bad James Cagney imitation.
