Jim Cramer scheduled to be guest on Thursday's "The Daily Show"
I only saw bits of a couple episodes, but it seems like the Colbert report is still pretty good.

I don't watch MSNBC or CNBC along with a good portion of the country. So why should I care what thier schtick is? It's just amusing when an Obama supporter attacks him now over his policies. I also think its a brilliant way to increase ratings for his show.
Nice save. Would have been better yesterday, but still kudos.

"Capitalism ho!"
The Daily Show went from sucking to blowing after Obama got elected.
This is simply because Bush is far funnier than Obama. Other than that, the show has pretty much been the same.

Cramer is also supposed to testify before Congress for supposed illegal market manipulation. Honestly, so much time has passed since he was a hedge fund trader that I don't think anything will come from it (even with Cramer admitting illegal activity 20 years earlier on a tape) but maybe, just maybe Congress will enact some new regulations and punishments for the activities Cramer described.
The writers are probably desperately wishing for Bush to come back, except for that whole 'continued national survival' thing...
But don't worry!! In a couple years all the Fed spending will finally seep out into the real economy and then they'll really have something to ***** about...

I'm surprised how obsequious Cramer was. He only drew exception to one point -- which Stewart quickly withdraw. He must have been heavily coached to "make nice" with Stewart.
But Stewart was relently. He practically claimed CNBC was aiding and abetting Wall Street rip offs. He did accuse Cramer of knowing off all the fraud and hyper-risktaking and remaining silent. A well researched attack by Stewart, and almost no defense by Cramer. I wasn't expecting this. Weird.
This was an evisceration beyond even my own expectations, Cramer, CNBC and the entire financial reporting industry are left dripping in moral indictment.
Overall my impression of Cramer is of a man who's sold his soul long ago wile still telling himself that he's a good guy, and now Stewart has ripped that fantasy away from him and made him look at the monster he's become. Cramer was so crushed by the end that Stewart had basically extracted a pledge for him to completely change the nature of his show from one of buffoonish market gaming too an intellectual and hard hitting financial abuse investigation. I don't know if Cramer will actually do that but he would be wise to do so as such a show might actually be worth watching and his old show is now effectively over.
It's stuff like this that proves the Daily Show is without a doubt the best show on television and Stewart is an absolute Master, the undisputed best satirist of our age. Colbert is an excellent presenter of well prepared material but he has never had Stewart's quickness or intellectual bite and can't demolish a man the way Stewart can.

Cramer showed guts coming on TDS, I'll give him that. And he was nothing but gracious during the interview. Stewart ****ing destroyed him, and CNBC. Holy ****.
Why is it you have to go to Comedy Central to see an actual interview nowadays? What happened to the media in this country?

Stewart was well-prepared, morally outraged and basically relentless. The transition from throwdown to beatdown was palpable and immediate. What was amazing was that it wasn't a brief interview -- it was the whole freaking show, from intro to Moment of Zen. Awesome stuff.
