I found it interesting, I have read 'sympathy for the devil' genres before but this had more elements of intrigue than previous reads. So I might be a bit biased as I am a sucker for that stuff (ala Martin Fire and Ice series) B+ to A minus rating.Originally posted by Arrian View Post

I like his Vlad Taltos stuff (Jhereg). I also found his Khaavren Romances (three books, Brust's homage to Dumas) fun as hell.

Mostly I think Brust is overrated, although the the Khaavren Romances were fun (I just read 2 of them though). He is a good writer, it is his stories which are 'eh'.
