I thought that was well done (the part of Serenity you didn't like).

I agree, the dialogue was definitely lacking. The premise is unoriginal almost to the point of being a cliche, but still has potential.

Burn Notice is a fun, distracting show but has little in the way of substance. Firefly was awesome but somewhat short on novel premises for each episode.

Yeh, I sometimes go on binges. It's good to be careful, though. Some heavy series are tough to watch that way.

Anyway, Hulu is great. I stream it to my PS3 in order to watch on the big screen. Quality is reasonable. I just started watching Firefly again.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

I didn't watch Burn Notice until I heard Bruce Campbell was on it, now it's one of the few shows I look forward to every week.

I can't decide if the girl in it is hot though.

I think Bruce Campbell just might be more attractive than she is. They can dress her up nice but she really looks like a burnt twig.

I've always like Gabrielle Anwar, but she seriously needs to eat something (but she is hot, yo).

                    ACK!

Actually, what we're seeing now is the 2nd half of Season 2. It got all fubared with the writer strike last spring.

I like her (Gabrielle Anwar) a lot, but it's all about the attitude and the character.

Has anyone been watching Lie to Me? I downloaded and watched the first four episodes this weekend and thought it was quite good. Dr. Lightman is like House with a British accent.

I thought Lie to Me was lame, I got bored halfway through the first episode. Still, I know lots of people who like it, I just won't be one of them.

I'm just waiting for the CSI effect to come into play and thousands of Lie To Me viewers to start running around playing amateur lie detector based on that week's tell du jour.
