The problem is that, even though we know he's never going to answer a question with anything close to a reasonable statement, even though we know it's a troll, the biters have to be thinking, unconsciously, "if I reply he'll come up with another inane response. Will it be more wacko than the previous one?"

That should be your biggest hint that you don't understand what's going on or why Ben is getting the reception he does.

As I've said before, you and Ben share a lot of the same traits. I don't mean to be insulting, but you both have an alarmingly high level of obliviousness...

While you seem to be a genuinely nice person, Ben is not. While you're both exceedingly polite on this site, what Ben says politely is deeply insulting to many people. On top of it, he shows no interest in being honest or reading what people write. For the final nail in his coffin, he goes the extra mile to slander and misrepresent the people he's talking with online. He really goes the whole 9 yards when it comes to being a ****.
