Yeah, I know. It was definitely disturbing and sad that Jean killed Scott while she locked lips and tangled tongues with him in the movie.

There is one thing in the third movie that I do have a question about. Why did Wolverine have to kill Phoenix (Jean)? Instead of using ALL the anti-mutant darts on Magneto, he could have saved a couple for Phoenix. Then when he had her in his arms like he did, he could have used the remaining anti-mutant darts on her.

About time someone realizes that I should be listened to.

Rome and Deadwood aren't on anymore so I'm sticking to my namesake, Mr. DeNiro.

My avatar is from Star Trek. It´s earth´s flag in a parallel universe (or is all the rest a parallel - sometimes i wonder which would be more realistic in our world), where human´s don´t form a federation, but go out conquering (and enslave the vulcans). It alledgedly (how do you spell this word, damn it?) appears in the original series and for sure is in the two episodes ´A mirror darkly´ of season 4 of the rather recent serires ´Enterprise´. The pic itself i cropped from a quiz on the Star Trek site. The basic design irritates me sometimes though: red with an emblem in the middle - looks familiar kinda - but that´s intentional i guess... It´s not chosen to reflect my personal attitude, but with civ in mind.

Avatars are meant to be geeky.

But in the the real Xmen #99, it's clear it's the other way around, and Jean not only isn't interested, but can't stand him ("It's Ms. Grey to you, buster. I've tried real hard to like you... but you'd better BACK OFF!!!")

Yes, I know that by knowing this it raises my geek level dramatically. I can accept that.

                Last movie sucked also.
By the way, what is the "real" X-Men comics you're referring to?

I've never read any of the X-men comics, but I really got tired of Cyclops in the first two movies, I was glad to see him taken out in the 3rd movie

Rama was by far the best.

Even though Krishna was a mega-pimp? Oh, and Shiva is an entirely separate deity from Vishnu. Vishnu was the second part of the Hindu "trinity," the preserver. Shiva was the third, the destroyer/renewer.

'Brazil' of course. DeNiro's character is named Harry Tuttle.

I'm sure it was an executive decision to cast him as a wanker.
