in my city zoning restricitons wouldn't allow it. It was planned this way. Actually the area I live in now used to be a retirement section. But there is no current age restriction to live here. I like it though as it is quiet as we still have quite a few old people on my corner. Old people rock, or they don't rock which is what makes them such good neighbors.

So these were estates that were zoned out back in the late 60's. (my home is 1984 though). They don't do these types of estates often. Most are regular parks where you have to pay rent

Now if you live in a rural area like we did when we lived in sandy valley. You can pretty much build whatever you want on it. There are no city codes you have to abide by.
And bad weather isn't something I have to worry about here. We have no hurricanes, tornados, or major earthquakes. It can get windy at times, but generally nothing over 60 mph.
