  • China confirms what we already knew.

BBC, News, BBC News, news online, world, uk, international, foreign, british, online, service

Basically China pays lots and lots of people to surf the net and say nice things about the country and the communist party. It also pays people to attack refute "bad news" in an attempt to lift public opinion.

Finally the actions of a certain Chinese poster becomes understandable.

Why would they have to pay people to say nice things about China and its leadership? The CCP has lifted more people out of poverty than any other government in the history of the world. They've more than earned the praise they receive.

The question is, how did they get there in the first place.

I have to hope this is wit, not stupidity.

Chinese food exports have a 99.3% acceptance rate by the West:

This is only .2% points lower than the acceptance rate of US foods sent to China.
                -----
This data, present on a China government website was also quoted in the Washington Post, not necessarily a China-loving-site, and it was not refuted by the USDA or FDA.
                ----
China's non-export food however, has acceptance rates domestically ranging between 70-93%... much lower.
                ----
Every country has suffered food scandals. remember, Korea still won't accept US beef because the population fears BSE(??) (Mad Cow Disease.) And Japan banned US beef for a great deal of time in the wake of that particular scandal.

Frog is quite tasty. Chicken Hearts and Dog are better though. So glad to hear it went well.

You can check the facts yourself, DinoDoc.

I am hardly a CCP schill.

But I will admit I admire a good deal more of their policies than most non-mainland Chinese citizens tend to.

                        中国加油!

This is actually slightly old news on the BBC. I first saw an article on this over about a year ago. And Chinese businesses have used them for several years to keep up positive PR.

But you probably are and not knowing it.

Come on, it won't put hair on your chest. Don't forget, Chinese are the greatest cooks in the world, they're also the most populous, must be doing something right.

Sorry but starting any sentence with the equivilant of "but the US does ..." as if such drivel excuses whatever fault is being discussed marks one's post with the UR seal of approval.
