Once Bush retires to Crawford, we can run busloads of tourists out to hurl their shoes onto his property. I bet it'd turn into a cottage industry.


BTW: The guy who hurled his shoes appeared in court today. The judge commented that it appeared as if he had been beaten up by Iraqi security forces.

The judge has announced an official probe into whether the shoe-thrower was beaten. He also said that the shoes were destroyed by police when they attempt the determine if the shoes contained explosives.

The shoe-throwers brother has told reporters that no family member or attorney has been allowed to meet with him. The brother opines this is evidence of "severe torture."
