You will note that clicking on 'vulcan neck pinch' leads you to ... a redirect to 'vulcan nerve pinch'. That is the terminology used by far most commonly, both in the literature and elsewhere.
Also, nerve wins the googlesearch competition, 17,700 to 8,500 with 3,500 overlaps (so really 14k to 5k). Nearly 3 to 1 nonoverlapping
Seems to me both are correct, even though "nerve pinch" is admittedly preferred. I was actually debating on which to use, for the purpose of avoiding a discussion just like this one, I used the one on the "Spock" wikipedia entry.

My stepson dove out the car window (it was parked) the other day, and I called him Luke Duke. His response was little more than a blank stare, then "Oh, was that the guy with that orange car?" after I started to explain that it was from a TV show.

Seriously, most people won't know what a vulcan neck pinch or whatever is.
I can understand not knowing the nerve pinch. It was "Who is Spock?" that got me. I mean, I don't expect everyone to know details about the character, but a minimum "isn't he that dude on that spaceship show?" level of familiarity seemed to be the norm in earlier generations.
Bear in mind, he also didn't get the "Do I like Kirk, or do I like Picard?" line in White and Nerdy. Once again, I understand not having any idea who Picard is. But back in the day, at least a vague recognition of the phrase "Captain Kirk" was pretty standard.

After ole Zkrib tells ya .
The only film I told her to watch was "Taming of the Shrew" starring Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor....and she still hasn't done that (right, b etor?).
Here's one that b etor might have learned in FBI training. Robert Culp plays FBI agent Bill Maxwell, who's teamed up with William Katt, a school teacher whose got hold of a supersuit but without the instruction book.
