Convince me not to buy an iPhone.

In the market again for a mobile, because my Samsung decided to stop working completely. Screen issues, tech guy says cannot be fixed, must buy a new one. Whether I believe him or not is irrelevant, I want a new one.

I'm not into mobiles, but I do need one. There is a great deal going for $349 + 1gig Internet for $56/month. It sounds reasonable to me. But I am naturally weary of anything made by Apple; so can someone convince me that I am about to do a stupid thing tonight?

I am sick of the following phones:
Sony Ericcson
Samsung
Motorola

So don't suggest them to me.

I like Nokia for its stability. But the iPhone's interface is what really grabs my attention.

I don't care about camera's, but its handy.
I don't care about word processing, because its too small to work with.
I don't care about games.
I do want to use it for email.
I doubt I will use it for browsing the internet, but I somehow think I will anyway, as long as the viewing area is worth it.
I don't care about battery life.
I do care about stability.
I do care about the cool factor.

Doesn't sound reliable to me. Don't forget, I am in Singapore. + no iPhone on that website.
