That is a better keyboard then the one I saw. I guess the touch is that good (to identify the keys). I would still be worried about not getting the rightones).

The footage of the guy typing is not typical. I'd recommend anyone try typing on the thing to judge.

It's always funny chatting with people who are IMing on the iPhone, it's like T9 text prediction where you get random words in sentences...

Typing is a mixed bag...and what's most frustrating is that most of the problems would be eliminated if Apple would allow us to type in landscape.

I saw other video's, some seem to be going faster than this Apple Guy.

Personally, I haven't liked the iPhone demos I've seen.

Sure, the screen is nice, but then if you don't have a hands free, you end up spending all of your time trying to polish it to get rid of the smudges that appear on it. And they're disgusting. Skin oils building up, dust, sweat... ugh, I'm grossing myself out thinking about it.

Anyway, I prefer my BlackBerry. Long battery life, qwerty keypad, MMS, chat, the ability to use Opera Mini....

I still like my Siemens ME45. It's a pity they went out of phone business.
It has everything a phone needs: buttons with digits, a speaker, a microphone and a screen. It rings, routes my calls, and sends text messages. What else should it do?
For anything else I use my handheld PC that has a better screen than an iPhone or my dedicated music player that works for more than a week of commuting on a single charge.

I doubt I would think FB cool in any case, but an iPhone...psssht. What a waste of money. An overpriced, hyped-up bleeping gizmo? Russia did that in the fifties, and at least Sputnik was one of a kind.

Easy. If you think about it, you don't really need one.

If Apple made cars the whole thing would have to be controlled by one touchpad.

Typing isn't very hard once you get used to it (a few days). I rarely make mistakes, more often than on a computer keyboard certainly but not frequently enough for it to be a problem.

The auto correct, though, makes a ton of mistakes. They finally included an option to turn it off in the latest iPhone software update... thank god ...
