Anyway, after much more research and thinking, I decided not to buy the iPhone. I'm going to get a much much simpler phone, by Nokia.

My advice is to get a regular phone and tell everyone you have an IPhone. That way you get the cool factor without having to deal with the crappiness of the real thing.

I thought you were sick and tired of Sony Ericsson? But it's a good looking phone with some nice features However the keypad is irritatingly clunky and the touch buttons on the side of the screen reduces the screen size too much and are hard to handle IMO. But that may be you have to get used to them? I recommend you try this phone at a dealer first, handling is (almost) everything IMO.

I would wait for the "iPhone killer" from Nokia though. The Nokia 5800 is a seriously cool phone at a fraction of the price of an iPhone
