    Bonuses will suck for many this year.

    I'm more worried about next year. A significant reduction in auto manufacturing would hurt my firm and it looks like that is what is in the making.

      We're a consultancy, we've got a couple projects explicitly because these companies laid off full-timers and still need to get stuff done...

          I had lots of the wine. It was good, but I didn't see the bottles.

                Easy:

                Serve red wine with red meats, and white wine with white meats. Serve rose with things in between, e.g. spaghetti.

                White wine: serve chilled. Hold by the stem of the glass so that it remains chilled.

                Red wine: serve room temperature. Hold by the bowl of the glass, so that your body heat aids vaporization.

                Tah dah! Now you're an expert!

                    For instance, a red like Beaujolais accompanies turkey best.

                    And for tomato sauce-based pasta, a chianti is best.

                    I'd also serve medium-bodied reds with the meatier fishes, like tuna, swordfish, etc.

                      Red Wine should actually be served at 16C, also, not quite room temperature.

                          I actually had red with chicken Saturday night. First glass was white, and I didn't like it. The red was much better.

                          The chicken though, the best I've ever had. Delightfully tender and tasty.
